1992 – founding the Romanian Beer Producers Association (APBR)

2001 - the Association changes its name into The Romanian Union of Beer Industry (PIBR)

January 2004 - The Romanian Union of Beer Industry (PIBR) dissolves

December 2004 – The Romanian Breweries' Association (BR) was set up upon the initiative of the most important beer producers on the Romanian market, Heineken Romania, InBev Romania, United Romanian Breweries Bereprod and Ursus Breweries. The members of the Romanian Breweries' Association represent over 80% of the beer market in Romania.

January 2009 – The "Brewers of Romania" Association has a new member, Romaqua Group.
